As a nutritionist I am here to teach you how to eat in a natural and balanced way, not only to maintain a healthy weight, but also to prevent diseases such as diabetes, heart problems, high cholesterol, osteoporosis. Good nutrition can also help reduce symptoms such as extreme weakness, migraines, constipation, stress, depression, heartburn, bloating, and reflux.
All human beings are genetically different and that what makes us unique! This is also the reason that certain foods are not good for everyone. A food that can be very beneficial for one person may be harmful to another and may provoke allergies or inflammation.
For example, children or adults with autism, attention deficit and hyperactivity are sensitive to certain foods (and their components) such as gluten, casein and preservatives (these can cause some unpleasant symptoms!)
Rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia are diseases that could be better controlled with good inflammation-reducing foods.
The field of Holistic Nutrition is extensive! I (and my family) have benefited greatly from taking a more holistic and natural approach to our diet and I know you can too! I would love to share my knowledge with you!
We offer comprehensive advisory service around natural nutrition and diet. It begins with a detailed evaluation of all aspects of your daily life (lifestyle) as well as the functioning of a variety of your biological systems (respiratory, digestive, intestinal, cardiovascular, endocrine, etc).
We start with a 2 hour meeting to go over your objectives and undertake this assessment process. Our assessments have been designed to evaluate each system that makes up our human body. The importance of filling them out in person (or virtually_ is to make sure that each question is well understood.
Once the questionnaires are tabulated and the results assessed, we have a second meeting to explain the results and set priorities (which system or systems must be taken care first and why) and present a comprehensive plan to follow.
This plan consists of recommendations and suggestions for improving your lifestyle and proper eating plan. Our aim is to help you understand WHY it is important to follow it. At this meeting, we also schedule another meeting to follow up. This appointment is normally within 2 or 3 weeks, depending on each case.
We analyze your progress, look at where you may have challenges/obstacles and provide support for getting through those challenges. This appointment takes approximately 30 minutes.
If you have any question before your follow-up appointment, you can contact our nutritionist by email. You can get two online consultations included in the price.
